Children's Ministry

Our children's ministry is founded on three words:

• Know
• Serve
• Celebrate

We seek to lead our children to deeper spiritual maturity by providing them with opportunities to KNOW God through the study of His word, SERVE God through active involvement in ministry, and CELEBRATE their relationship with God through times of worship and fellowship with others.

Our Sunday morning Bible school serves as the foundation of our children's ministry.   Our aim is to provide informative and engaging classes for children of all ages.   We also provide a Wednesday evening Bible study.   VBS is one of the annual highlights of our children's ministry, but there are many other service and fellowship activities planned throughout the year.

2007 Christmas Float Wins 1st Place
The children did a wonderful job waving to the crowd and singing Christmas carols as the float moved down Danville's Main Street.   Winning 1st place came with a cash prize of $100.   The money was used to buy baby food and clothes which were donated to the Galilean Home's Angel House ministry.
At VBS 2007 kids were encouraged to take the plunge into a relationship with Jesus.  Daily visits to Bibleland Bay, Craft-Away-Cove, Oceans of Motion, and Lifespring Lagoon helped them develop the kind of faith it takes to live for Jesus.
