The minister serves as the primary teacher for the congregation and manages the day-to-day administrative functions of the church.   He also assists the Elders in meeting the pastoral needs of the congregation and provides direction for its ministries.

Westend is pleased to introduce our new minister.   Eric and Nova Hicks joined the work here at Westend in December 2009.  They came here from Andover, Kansas where Eric served as the minister since 2003.  They have made their home in Perryville, KY along with their three beautiful daughters, Mollie, Emilea and Carlee.  Eric has a great love for preaching God's word.  He does so in the spirit of love and in a manner that makes the message relevant for daily living.
